Common Questions
Answers to frequently asked pricing questions
Price ranges reflect project complexity. Factors include building size, site conditions, structural requirements, and municipal jurisdiction. A straightforward basement suite conversion will be at the lower end, while a project requiring significant structural changes or complex site conditions will be higher. Your feasibility assessment provides an exact quote.
Yes, the feasibility assessment is a separate service that happens first. It protects you from investing in a project that may not be viable due to zoning, structural, or regulatory constraints. If you proceed with the full permit package, the feasibility fee is credited toward your total investment.
Municipal revisions are included in your permit package at no additional cost. We've built revision handling into our process because it's a normal part of permit applications. Only changes to your original project scope (like adding a second suite) would require additional fees.
Our integrated approach typically saves 15-25% compared to hiring separate architects, engineers, and consultants. More importantly, you avoid the hidden costs of coordination delays, rework from miscommunication, and project management time. Use our multi-unit calculator to see specific savings for larger projects.
We offer milestone-based payments aligned with project phases. Typically: 30% at design start, 40% at engineering completion, and 30% at permit submission. For larger multi-unit projects, we can discuss customized payment schedules. All terms are outlined in your project agreement before we begin.
